New Gaga

Gaga played a never-before-heard track at Elton John’s white tie and tiara ball on Friday. It’s a “bit of a rock and roll track” according to her, and would therefore never be released as a single.

At the moment, the view count is on 307, but was at 60 just seconds before. It’s a shame that the sound quality is so poor, and that she looks like she has a shining globe for a head, but still – well worth a listen.

Kings of Leon

I spent a long time ranting to Jon Silk and getting excited about Kings of Leon’s June dates at the beginning of the year. In particular, just before we were due to have tea at Yumchaa back in January (my favourite tea shop, check them out at Glastonbury this year if you’re going).

However. I slept through my alarm, was late for our meeting and I missed my opportunity to buy tickets. He said it was karma.

I must be forgiven. We’re going next Wednesday. *Squeal*

Today is my birthday, and I’m using it to get wholly over-excited about returning here:

Dappled light

Now, off to eat cake.
